Game Links
This is our latest list of free online game sites that we highly recommend to our readers. If you have any game links that you would like to recommend, we want to hear from you. Don’t be shy. We’ll be updating the links on this list on a regular basis, so remember to check back for new additions.
Addicting Games
Addicting Games is the classic. Tons of updates, tons of games cataloged, tons of crap that you just don’t care about. But, if you’re ever looking for a game that you remembered you played “a while ago”, this place should have it. It just takes a little bit of searching.
MilkandCookies
Since Milk and Cookies isn’t really a games site, you’re not going to find a whole lot in terms of volume. What you will find is games that really keep you occupied for a while… Don’t go here while you’re getting ready for work.
Armorgames
Armor Games is one of my favorite places for higher quality games. Less Bejeweled remakes, more Snowball. The games on this site tend to keep me occupied for a bit (MilkandCookies likes to link to them). If you need a place to start, check out IndestructoTank.
Popcap
I’ll be honest, there’s only two games I play on Popcap, Insaniquarium, and a Psychobabble. However, the fishy game is a great time killer, and Psychobabble is ridiculously fun if you can get a few friends playing together. So lean over to the cubicle next to you and see if anyone is up for a game.
Spikything
Spikything is the personal website of flash designer Liam O’Donnell, he’s got some great content up there. It’s all stuff he’s done primarily for other sites, but check it out because he’s got a unique style.
Skillcity Games
Skillcity Games sets itself apart from the crowd with it’s token system. It was recently posted on one of my favorite webcomics, PennyArcade. So if you like to win prizes or be rewarded with online currency for your gaming efforts, get over to Skillcity and let me know what you think.
Newgrounds
Newgrounds is another oldie but goody. They’ve been around forever so their content library is gargantuan. I don’t think any single human could explore it all. But they’ve got some great stuff on there as well as some… ahem… some inappropriate stuff. So whether you wanna play possibly the best flash side scroller of all time, or just play strip poker (I’m not going to link you to that, go find it yourself :-p ), Newgrounds should have it.
