Airline Passenger Bill of Rights
The Coalition for a Passenger Bill of Rights has created a Stranded Passenger Blog and Stranded Passenger Forum in an attempt to stop the atrocious treatment that airline passengers are receiving at the hands of the airlines. The latest incident involving Jet Blue’s decision to keep passengers in a plane on the airport Tarmac for 11 hours. There is a petition on this site that you can sign, if you agree that this type of behavior on the part of airline management should be finally stopped. The airlines, in the past, have lobbied heavily to stop any kind of regulation that would require them to keep people in planes for three hours or less.
