I’ve been watching this season’s American Idol TV show intently, and it occurs to me that there is an obvious way to win the whole shebang, without much effort, and certainly no voice is necessary (this is proven). As Simon repeatedly says - “It is all about song selection”!

Week Two: America the Beautiful
Week Three: God Bless America
Week Four: God Bless the USA
Week Five: I’m A Yankee Doodle Dandy
Week Six: Off We Go Into the Wild Blue Yonder (Careful with this one)
Week Seven: This Land Is Your Land (Bring the audience into this one)
Week Eight: Marine Corp Hymm (With honor guard as a backup singers)
Week Nine: Your’re a Grand Old Flag
Week Ten: Ballad of the Green Berets (Remember to honor John Wayne in your interview)
Week Eleven: Stars Spangle Banner (If you lose, play Taps)
