Chris Perillo’s Live Online TV Computer Advice – iTunes, Viruses, Webcams and more
5 Aug
This is a pretty interesting example of the new world of online TV programming. Chris Pirillo is a popular web broadcaster on the Ustream.TV broadcasting network, specializing in computer tips from a computer geek. He has a whole series of programming that he tapes and stores on his site Chris Perillo Live. You’ll find subjects for the novice and the experienced ranging from Internet Video to Trojans and Viruses, to Giveways such has his Webcam Giveaway. Chris has made himself a star with over 100,000 views on Ustream. I’m going to spend more time searching this interesting media looking for interesting stars. If you know of someone, let me know. Here is a sample of what Chris does as he talks about why he doesn’t like iTunes.

Based on my experience with any software from Apple, I don’t like any running on my WIndows PC. All of Apple’s media products, just don’t work well in Windows. QT nerver worked good…and iTunes is worse. It’s slow in Windows XP and Vista and even in Windows 7.
you’re sir chris, iTunes consumes alot of resources.
so thats why I don’t use it, instead I use Windows Media Player, VLC and WinAmp
and I install codecs, so I can play different codecs ^^
